Q1: WHAT ARE THE NEW FEATURES IN WIFICHEEMA v2.0

WiFiCheema v2.0 for Server and Client are now available for download. The new client allows users to Zoom in on any part of the screen. The v2.0 of WiFiCheema Server now works in two modes(Remote View, Remote Control).In Remote View PC/Mac screen can be viewed on Smartphones remotely. In Remote Control mode the computer can be controlled as well. Click on MODE button to switch between the two modes.

Q2: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WIFIREMOTES AND WIFICHEEMA?

WiFiCheema is a free software compatible with both Touch and Non-Touch based mobilephones that enables users to view and control their computer screens on their mobilephone. WiFiRemotes is a Remote Mouse and Keyboard for Touch based smartphones only

Q3: HOW DO I USE WIFICHEEMA?

To use WiFiCheema you need to install Free WiFiCheema Server Software on your Windows based PC, Mac or Linux and install the client software on your mobilephone. Run the server software on your Windows/Mac/Linux and note down the IP Address displayed by the server software. Run the client software on your smartphone and enter this IP Address on the connection screen to start controlling your computer remotely.

Q4: HOW TO INSTALL SERVER SOFTWARE ON A PC WITH Windows

Just download and unzip the Windows Server File (available on download page). Double click to install using Windows Installer. IMPORTANT:Please ensure that TCP port 8338 and 8339 are not blocked by the Windows firewall.

Q7: HOW TO INSTALL SERVER SOFTWARE ON A MAC?

The server software for Mac OS X is bundled as a standard DMG file. Just download and install as you install other Mac applications. Make sure that when you run, you allow incoming connections as this is required for the clients smartphones to connect to server

Q8: I TRY TO CONNECT BUT HAVE A CONNECTION PROBLEM,WHY?

If you have installed client software on the smartphone and server software on PC/Mac but the smartphone is not connecting with the server, just make sure that Firewall or antivirus on your PC/Mac is not blocking your server software.

Q9: IS WIFICHEEMA CLIENT COMPATIBLE WITH NON-TOUCH PHONES

Yes WiFiCheema works both for touch and non-touch based mobilephones

Q10: DOES WIFICHEEMA REQUIRE MOBILEPHONE TO HAVE WIFI CAPABILITY
